Project Description:
Cesar Chavez Gardens is a 47-unit, affordable housing project for low- income families and seniors in Downtown Los Angeles. The project includes a childcare center to meet local community needs. Other building features include a recreation room, laundry facilities and supportive services. This project had several sources of funding that included LAHD, CDD, Little Tokyo Service Center and Chinatown Service Center. Preconstruction services included cost estimates, value engineering and negotiation assistance with the adjacent property owner.
