Pine Square is an entertainment and evening destination with a residential component for people who work in the area. This pioneering redevelopment project in downtown Long Beach mixes uses in a novel manner - four apartment floors with 187 units over cinema and retail levels atop two parking levels for 400 cars. It also mixes structural systems - wood framing over structural steel, over reinforced concrete.
