Morley installed new shear walls and beam encasements on floors 25, 26 and 27 in this prominent Los Angeles Civic Center building. Reinforcing steel was lifted by helicopter to the work areas and concrete was pumped from the street below. This was an early phase of a major strengthening and modernization program for the landmark tower.
