Morley Builders has a broad record of experience in seismic retrofit and repair work, and in the accompanying area of building modernization. While individual projects pose unique challenges, our knowledge of engineering technologies allow us to remain an innovator in maintaining and increasing the structural integrity of a building. Morley is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California and San Diego, Earthquake Engineering Research Institute and American Concrete Institute. Morley was one of the first contractors in the United States to retrofit a major occupied structure with a base isolation system and was also one of the first to retrofit a concrete building with a friction damper system.
