Morley Builders, a leader in the construction industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Hupf as President. A 26-year veteran of the firm, Ryan succeeds Charles Muttillo, who will remain with the company and transition to the role of Executive Chairman.
Since joining Morley Builders after graduating from the University of Washington, Ryan has held various positions, from Project Engineer to Chief Operating Officer. His dedication, creativity, and integrity have earned him the respect of clients and colleagues alike. Over his career, he has overseen more than $1 billion in construction projects, spanning internationally acclaimed cultural landmarks, commercial offices, hotels, preservation and renovation projects, luxury mixed-use developments, and affordable and senior housing. Notable projects under his leadership include the renovation of the world-renowned Getty Villa, the Packard Humanities Institute’s Film Archive and Preservation Center, and Los Angeles’ iconic Hotel Bel-Air.

Ryan has played a vital role in mentoring the next generation of builders. He has led the Morley team at the annual Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Student Competition, fostering industry engagement and advancing construction education. His dedication to developing future leaders has solidified his reputation as a trusted figure in the industry. Ryan is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), demonstrating his commitment to the broader construction community.
