UCSD North Torrey Pines Living and Learning Neighborhood

The UCSD North Torrey Pines Living and Learning project is the largest complex built on campus to date. This $627 million neighborhood includes housing for 2,000 students, academic towers, parking with 1,200 spaces, and retail space. The new neighborhood is the home of Sixth College, one of the six individual colleges spread across campus.

 

Morley Construction Company provided concrete subcontracting services for the project consisting of three levels of below grade parking with a 216,000-square-foot footprint and four residential and academic buildings – a 14-story cast-in-place Social Sciences  Public Engagement Building, 11-story cast-in-place Arts and Humanities Building, 7-story cast-in-place Craft Center and Community Building, and 1-story steel structure Auditorium with fill on metal deck.
