Grand Opening of Together California's Village for Brothers & Sisters in Palmdale

Morley Builders is proud to celebrate the grand opening of Together California’s Village for Brothers & Sisters, a transformative foster housing community in Palmdale designed to help keep siblings together while providing a safe, supportive environment for children in foster care.

Co-founded by actor and humanitarian Christian Bale, Together California Children’s Village is a 46,369-square-foot residential development created to address one of the foster care system’s most significant challenges: keeping brothers and sisters together during placement. The thoughtfully designed community offers stable housing and comprehensive support services for foster youth and their caregivers.

The Village includes six detached duplex townhomes, providing a total of 12 residential units. Each home features four bedrooms for foster children and one bedroom for a full-time foster parent, creating a family-centered environment that promotes connection, stability, and belonging. In addition, two studio apartments provide flexible housing options for young adults transitioning out of foster care and into independent living.

Beyond residential accommodations, the development features a 7,100-square-foot community center designed to support education, wellness, and community engagement. The center includes a multipurpose room, learning lab, fully equipped kitchen, administrative offices, case manager workspaces, and a conference room, creating a central hub for services and programming.

The project also embraces sustainable design principles through the use of indigenous and drought-tolerant landscaping, photovoltaic solar panels, exterior window shading, and energy-efficient building orientation. A 65-space surface parking lot serves residents, staff, and visitors.
