Construction of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels included a steel-framed conference and office center over subterranean parking for 600 cars. The two-story office structure includes a full commercial kitchen capable of serving up to 600 in the conference facilities, as well as a coffee shop, gift store and the office of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The adjoining plaza comprises various water features, gardens and a carillon (bell) structure.
