Bosa Pacific Gate

Bosa Pacific Gate

Bosa Pacific Gate, situated at the corner of Broadway and Pacific Highway, is San Diego’s first super prime residential building and a landmark building in the revitalization of the San Diego waterfront. Located blocks from the Cruise Terminal, the structure spans an entire city block with three levels of below-grade parking, a 41-story residential tower complete with a rooftop penthouse pool, a four-story mid-rise topped with a pool deck, and a lobby with curved perimeter walls and high-decks spanning two levels for the 16,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. The building features exposed concrete columns at the balconies and inside the residential units and a fully-exposed, high-end exposed concrete garage.

Morley Construction Company provided concrete subcontracting services, placing a total of 54,000 cubic yards on the project. The mat foundation was placed during the two largest single day pours in Morley’s history at that time. Using seven pumps, Morley poured more than 8,100 cubic yards of concrete in a single pour, completing in less than 12 hours and reaching a peak pour-rate of 780 cubic yards per hour throughout the day.
