Colibrí at Restorative Care Village Phase I & II

Colibrí at Restorative Care Village is a two-phase affordable and supportive housing development within Los Angeles General Medical Center’s Restorative Care Village in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of East Los Angeles. The project will provide 296 units and relevant community-serving resources.

 

Phase I consists of 146 affordable units, shared community spaces, a 12-bed peer respite facility, and onsite supportive services. The Type III over Type I, six-story building includes ground-level parking and amenities such as community room, therapy-wellness center, residential services offices, laundry facilities, community garden, and outdoor galleries.

 

Phase II will add 150 special-needs senior and affordable units in a six-story Type III over Type I structure. Commercial space (including a café) and resident amenities will be included on the ground floor. Designed with accessibility at its core, 50% of units will be mobility-feature units and all will meet Universal Design Standards. The project is being delivered under prevailing wage requirements and falls under Los Angeles County jurisdiction.
