The Trust Building

Morley completed the core and shell revitalization of The Trust Building, a 370,000 sf historic gem of the Old Bank District of Los Angeles. Built in 1928 by the Title Insurance & Trust Company as its headquarters, The eleven-story Trust Building was designed by Los Angeles architects John and Donald Parkinson. Designated a Historical Cultural Landmark (#772) in 2003, preservation scope includes seismic strengthening, material abatement, restoration of historic murals and cleaning and restoring existing terracotta. The Art Deco landmark has been retrofitted as creative office space with ground-floor retail and a rooftop restaurant.
