The 3-story, concrete community center features multi-purpose space, a fitness center, leasing offices, Internet cafe, study rooms, and over 100 bicycle spots. The 5-story open parking garage has 532 parking spaces, a maintenance office, bike hub, 906 bicycle spots, and features an intricate exterior aluminum skin.
The LEED Platinum project is University of California’s first Zero-Net Energy operation. The community operates on an all-electric system and a 1.4-megawatt photovoltaic array atop the parking structure offsets the annual energy usage of the building.
