The Glasgow Residential Restaurant is a new two-story, 53,000-square-foot student dining facility on UC Riverside’s campus. The project features a modern, residential dining program with multiple food stations, an exhibition bakery, a demonstration cooking platform, convenience store, patio terrace, two private dining rooms, and over $6 million in food service equipment. It includes a 3,500-square-foot main commercial kitchen, nine walk-in cooler/freezers, dishdrop and dishwashing areas, and administrative offices for restaurant/kitchen and catering operations. The building, constructed of structural steel frames, seats 830 people and replaced the existing campus dining hall.
