Morley Construction Company provided concrete services for Kaiser Permanente’s new Central Hospital located in San Diego. The hospital includes 321 beds on seven levels and use state-of-the-art technology throughout the structure and patient rooms. As the first phase of this campus project, the hospital was designed to enable future planned expansions such as a central plant, hospital support building and an expandable parking structure. Targeting LEED Gold certification, the hospital embraces both technology and the environment. Sustainable features include rainwater utilization, waste recycling and native drought-resistant landscaping throughout the several thousand feet of walking trails and gardens.
Morley also provided concrete services for the Energy Center which supports the hospital facility and future structures.
