DSRT Surf is a new 17-acre resort destination in Palm Desert; it will be California’s first facility to offer man-made surf waves open to the public. The resort’s main attraction is its five-acre surf lagoon where these waves will be generated (powered by Wavegarden Cove technology), accommodating up to 80 surfers simultaneously and offering customizable waves suitable to all skill levels. Additional future amenities to the project include for-sale villas, hotel, pickleball, swimming pool, and skate park.

Morley Construction Company is providing structural concrete subcontracting services for the surf facility. Scope of work includes the Surf Lagoon (foundations, walls, and shore slabs-on-grade), Pool Equipment Room (foundations and slab-on-grade), Surf Center (foundations and slab-on-grade), Control Tower (foundations, slab-on-grade, slab-on-metal-deck, bond beams, and pan stairs), Water Treatment Plant (foundations, walls, backfill, and slab-on-grade), and E-Houses (slab-on-grade) providing electrical needs to the Surf Lagoon.
